More Ways to Communicate
Our 2nd grade Quest classes are learning about influential people of the past. We have been studying about how people did inspiring things that we still read and hear about today. These great people have helped pave the way for us today. One person in particular that we studied, was Helen Keller. We learned that Helen Keller did not let her disability of being both blind and deaf slow her down. She went on to college and did great things in her life. Our guest, Mrs. Haley Blanchet, came and taught us sign language as a way to communicate with others that may be deaf. Here are some pictures from her visit. The kids are signing, “I love you.”

Oh the Places We Can Go!!!!

Our geography study in Quest has taken us all over the world. We have received so many wonderful postcards from amazing places. We have tracked all of the postcards on our map and would love to visit those places one day. This study of places around the world has really made us want to travel and see the world more. Here are a few pictures from all of the cool things we have learned about during our Geography study.
