A Day at the Wax Museum

2nd grade QUEST students in Mrs. Holly Johnson’s class have been learning about “Influential People of the Past.” Each student chose a special person of interest to research. The students used their research findings to put together a slideshow presentation that they would present to their families at school. The students dressed the part that represented their person of the past. We had a wonderful time at the museum and every student did an outstanding job. We have learned so much throughout this amazing unit of study. Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged us. It was a great success!

Be Your Life’s Own Author

Mrs. Holly Johnson’s 6th grade Quest students shared stories they had written with children at PLE. The students have worked hard writing books and wanted others to enjoy them also. MSP Quest really enjoyed interacting with the younger students. They also brought each class a blank book that can be used to create a class story. MSP Quest shared that good books come from stories in your own life. Using your imagination is what makes a great story come to life. It was nice to see all of the students so engaged and excited about reading.
